About the Fall 2025 Advocacy Bootcamp
The Fall 2025 Advocacy Bootcamp was a free, five-week program for parents and caregivers in Contra Costa County. Participants gained hands-on tools to strengthen leadership skills, navigate local government, and speak up for issues that matter most in their communities.
Through interactive activities, panel discussions with local officials, and peer collaboration, participants left the program equipped to advocate for themselves, their families, and their neighborhoods.
Learning and Leadership in Action
During the Fall 2025 Bootcamp, participants engaged in activities to build advocacy skills and leadership confidence.
From research exercises on local issues to practicing public comment, every session empowered participants to step into their voices.
Celebrating Achievement and Community
The Fall 2025 Bootcamp concluded with a graduation celebration honoring participants’ growth, dedication, and new skills.
