A healing-centered gathering for Black women to reconnect with their bodies, renew their minds, restore their souls, and reclaim themselves.
Black women are often called to carry, care, lead, endure, and keep moving.
Reclaiming Self is an invitation to turn some of that care inward and reconnect with the person who can become buried beneath those responsibilities: you.
The 2026 Black Women’s Sanctuary Conference is a healing-centered gathering created by and for Black women, with space to nurture the whole self through care for the body, mind, and soul.
Throughout the day, participants will be invited to slow down, reflect, connect, and explore practices that support physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Through intentional experiences, meaningful conversations, reflection, and sisterhood, we will explore what it means to care for ourselves as whole people and make well-being an ongoing commitment.
Reclaiming Self invites you to return to yourself, honor what you need, and carry more of yourself home.
This Day Is an Opportunity To:
Reconnect with your body and listen to what it needs
Nurture your mind by making space for reflection, emotional wellness, and growth
Restore your soul through joy, connection, rest, and grounding experiences
Reclaim your voice and boundaries without guilt or apology
Connect with other Black women in an affirming space rooted in sisterhood and collective care
Leave with tools and practices that can support your well-being beyond the conference
At the Black Women’s Sanctuary Conference, Black women can exhale, be seen, reconnect with themselves, and experience the power of community with women who understand.
You do not have to earn rest. You do not have to wait until you are depleted to care for yourself.
Your body is yours.
Your mind is yours.
Your joy is yours.
Your peace is yours.
Your story is yours.
Your life is yours.
It is time to reclaim yourself.
Come as you are. Reconnect with who you are. Leave carrying more of yourself home.
