Alaafia brings nearly a decade of experience working with children and a deep commitment to maternal and child health, with a focus on improving outcomes for Black and Brown communities.

Her dedication to addressing disparities in infant and maternal care began during her college years and continues to guide her work as a CoCo Doula.

Beyond her doula work, Alaafia is a gifted singer and community leader, proudly leading Blk Girl Clique, an empowering group for Black women, enbies, and gender-fluid individuals. S

he integrates cultural empowerment, emotional support, and holistic care into her practice to nurture families and strengthen community bonds.
