Latina & Black Women’s Joint Sanctuary
Bloom Under the Sun: August Wellness Circle
Two cultures. One circle. Leave lighter.
Dos culturas. Un círculo. Sal más ligera.
Black and Latina women are invited to gather for a morning of wellness, reflection, and cross-cultural connection at Foxboro Park.
This quarterly Joint Sanctuary brings together participants from Black Women’s Sanctuary and Santuario Latino para Mujeres in a shared, healing-centered space. Through guided conversation and wellness practices, participants can connect across cultures while finding support around common experiences such as caregiving, discrimination, economic stress, isolation, and the pressure to remain strong.
What to expect:
A warm welcome and grounding activity
Guided circle conversation, with the option to share or listen
Yoga, breathwork, and stretching
A gratitude walk
Connection and mutual learning in an English and Spanish space
A thoughtful closing to help participants leave feeling lighter and grounded
Community agreements include confidentiality, respect, non-judgment, and speaking from personal experience. This gathering is a supportive community space and does not provide therapy or crisis care.
