Tashiana “Tashii” is a proud Richmond native and lifelong advocate dedicated to building equity, inclusion, and empowerment in her community. As Lead Organizing Coordinator for FIERCE Advocates, she brings nearly a decade of experience in youth advocacy, community organizing, and resource development for vulnerable populations.

A former Contra Costa County foster youth, Tashii draws strength from her lived experience to connect authentically with those she serves. She is a member of the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (C.B.O.C.) within WCCUSD and the founder of an initiative supporting the social-emotional wellbeing of parents and caregivers in the Special Needs community.

Tashii’s work is guided by her belief that “statistically and equitably, I am you, and you are me.” Her leadership is fueled by empathy, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to empowering others to find their voice and stand for justice.
